Howdy, Its been rough in our group, to be honest it has been rough the whole time. Certain members of our group refuse to connect with others and I. Cough…Chris. Ive been wanting to work on this forever but some people don’t care and want us to do the whole entire thing by ourselves which isn’t going to happen. So we will being doing an ask in our presentation along with telling what we have accomplished so far. We haven’t accomplished much, but we have more than other groups for sure. I am bringing in jeans that I have got. But I don’t know if anyone else has got jeans to give to the hope center. This is the final blog and last time our group is getting together and coming up with a plan. Wish us luck.

Hello my dudes, A little bit has happened since I've been gone so far. What has happened is that we had a conference with out teacher about what our group has done. We haven't really done anything towards our goals but we've been working on it and we are getting closer. So this weekend there is a sports battle at our school that is sending its profits towards cancer research and treatment. So we want to make a flyer to draw in donators. I have actually started on it but it has yet to be printed. Another idea is to add maybe one more item that can be donated. We also have an idea about creating an ask for the final presentation. The only bad thing is that the people there are parents and will most likely have contributed to there children's groups.
I am back again this week with new and improved information. This information involves the hashtags and “at’s” from last week. For the hashtags we haven’t found on appropriate for our project yet but we decided to create our own “at”. We have a couple different ideas. We could use our name of the project, we could use the name of the school, the name of the cats we are in, or maybe just our names. Another thing I would like to work on in the future is setting up places for people to donate to. I don’t know what would be accepted or appropriate by Mr.Carlson. Next week I’ll have come up with ideas of where people can donate jeans to.
This weeks blog is not adding anymore information about the resolution. However, I am going to be talking about something new our teacher just explained to us. We are going to be "networking". That is basically how we are going to draw in viewers. People who are famous use lots of hashtags. We would want to go through the internet and find popular hashtags for helping the community. This would Draw in people who are interested in what we are doing and maybe they'd spread the word and use a hashtag to @ us. Next blog I'll give you info on the hashtags and @'s and also the resolution progress.
Hi, It's me again after a while. We've been caught up by our elevator pitch and I was sick for a couple of days. During the time from the last blog from here, Means for Jeans as a group has not done the most collectively as a group. We all successfully created and performed out elevator pitch which we will use to bring in people to help us out almost like a sponsor. It went really well and now I'm gonna do a resolution for our group. My resolution for our group is to actually take action on what we set our agenda on. That's what our problem is. We have never done a project that is outside of school so we just need to meet up and do what we say in class.
Welcome to week 5. But technically week 6. Due to certain circumstances we couldn’t post a blog last week. But over this time period my group has come up with an idea for our project. We intend to ask the owner of the Wildy Theatre in Edwardsville to help us. We thought it would be cool if we could set something up to where if people bring in jeans they could get a free entry or a discount. But we started a letter for it and haven't finished yet. We also have been planning a elevator pitch for monday. An elevator pitch is where you explain your project in 30 seconds. So come next week we’ll have new info and an elevator pitch.
Hello, welcome to an uneventful week four. We did move on a little bit with what we are deciding on. As a group, we want to do a jean drive. That is how we will be specific and try to get people to actually think of what they can donate from home. But I want to come up with how we are going to collect the jeans. I am thinking about asking a local place to help us out. I have a couple places in mind and some of those I have connections with. So next week, hopefully we will have a place for people to donate toThis week is kinda hard to say what we did. We sat around and actually were deciding on what we should do. We had a talk with our teacher Mr.Carlson on what some other possibilities are. And we as a group said we should make a specific drive. By specific we don’t mean just clothes anymore, we have in mind to do a jean drive or something of that sort. The reason we decided on that was because of what Mr.Carlson said. He really helped us because if we are specific, people will think of that specific item at home. We think they will think of every pair of jeans they have and will be willing to give one up. But if we aren’t specific thy will think of clothes in general and not clothes they can give to us to give to the needy.Hi, it's me again, Dillon. I am here to let you know how far we have come as a group. So, we decided that we need to take some time to plan out our boxes. When and where are a little concern. The wood to make them is our biggest concern because we don't know what type we should use or where to get the wood. I think I might have a connection to get the wood for free though. Now that winter in nearing. We are thinking that we could focus on bringing in winter clothes or blankets. Although any clothes are appreciated. Next blog we should have figured out some stuff and I'll let you in on it.Salutations my dudes, my name is Dillon and I am opening my 20 time project to you. My group is going to do a type of donation. We hope to get clothes or other items such as blankets, book bags for kids, shoes, utensils, etc. To get these items we are putting flyers over town at common stores. People who see them will hopefully go donate the excess items at one of our drop- of zones in a box, After a while of collecting, We will give the clothes to hope center and they will give to those in need of those clothes and items. By doing this we are helping our local society because they give to those close to us. The process is going to take a while since we are going to make the boxes and flyers ourselves and we never know how long it will take to get somebody to actually donate.
